when you use this website.

When you're on this website, you're agreeing to certain things. It's important that you know exactly what those things are - the cans, can'ts, dos, don'ts, whats and whatnots.

So, please read our Website Terms. Yes, it's a legal document, but we've tried to write it in honest, plain English.

Fae Technologies Ltd  ·  Version 1.0  ·  Effective date: 22 April 2026

A note before you read. We know legal documents are rarely anyone's idea of a good time. We've tried to write this one plainly and honestly. It sets out the terms for using this website: what we ask of you, what you can expect from us, and where the boundaries are. If something isn't clear, please ask us.

By using this website you are agreeing to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use it.

1.Who We Are

Fae is built to improve people's financial wellbeing, not by selling them things, but by giving them clarity. That's the whole idea.

The website and service are operated by Fae Technologies Ltd, a company incorporated in England and Wales (Company Number: 16753505), with its registered address at Unit D3, Curie House, Wallis Road, London, E9 5LN.

If you have questions about these Terms, please use the Contact Us page on our site or email us at: hello@getfae.com

2.We're in Test Mode

Fae is in a private test mode right now, and Fae100 is how we're doing the testing. As a kind of playground for that testing, Fae100 is by invitation only. Things will change. Features may be added, adjusted, or removed, without notice. We'll be learning as we go, and we're grateful you're part of it.

During the testing phase:

  • participation consists of, among other things, conversations about your financial life and preferences
  • the website and service are provided on an "as available" basis - we can't guarantee they'll be perfect
  • we may need to pause or discontinue the testing and the website at any time

If you're using the service, you'll also need to accept our separate Terms of Service before you get started.

3.Who Can Use This Website

This website is for people who are at least 18 years old and can enter into a legally binding agreement. By using this website, you're confirming that both of these apply to you.

Some parts of our service require an invitation or login. If you've been invited to Fae100, additional terms apply to your participation - those are covered in the Fae100 Terms of Service. If you're browsing our public site, you're welcome here. Fae will be launching publicly in 2026.

4.Your Account

4.1 Setting Up

You can create an account using an email address and password, or via Google sign-in. Please give us accurate information when you register and keep it up to date. Your account is yours, and you're responsible for everything that happens under it.

4.2 Keeping It Secure

Please keep your login details protected. It's your responsibility to keep them safe – if someone gets into your Fae account by accessing your credentials, we can't be held accountable. If you ever think someone else has accessed your account, please tell us straight away. We'll act quickly.

4.3 One Person, One Account

Your account is personal to you. Please don't share it with anyone else or let anyone else use it in your name.

5.What Fae Is and What It Isn't

Fae is a personal money companion. With your permission, it connects to your financial data (transactions, emails, calendar) to give you a clearer picture of your financial life and help you do things to improve it. The full details of how the service works are in our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

It's important to be clear about what Fae is not:

  • Not a bank or payment institution;
  • Not a regulated financial adviser;
  • Not an insurance intermediary; and
  • Not a credit broker.

Nothing on this website is financial advice. Fae gives you information and insight. What you do with it is your decision. If you need regulated advice, please speak to a qualified professional.

6.Using This Website Responsibly

We ask everyone who uses this website to use it lawfully and in good faith. That means not doing any of the following:

  • Publishing or mirroring any of its content in any other media;
  • Using the website in a way that breaks the law;
  • Sending spam or unsolicited advertising;
  • Trying to gain access to parts of the website or our systems that you're not supposed to reach;
  • Doing anything that stops other people from using the website properly;
  • Introducing viruses, malware, or anything else designed to cause harm;
  • Scraping or harvesting content or data from the website; or
  • Attempting to reverse engineer or extract the source code of any part of the Fae service.

Please don't let anyone else use your account either. It's yours.

Serious misuse of this website may constitute a criminal offence under the Computer Misuse Act 1990. If that happens, we will report it to the relevant authorities and cooperate with any investigation, including sharing your details if required. We will also remove your access.

7.Our Content

Everything on this website - the words, design, code, logos, and everything else - belongs to Fae Technologies Ltd or to the people who have licensed it to us. It's protected by UK and international intellectual property law.

We're giving you permission to use this website for your own personal, non-commercial purposes as part of our testing. That's it. Please don't copy, reproduce, or use our content commercially without asking us first.

8.Content You Share With Us

If you upload documents (insurance policies, bank statements, and so on) or share information through the Fae chat, you're giving us permission to use that content to provide the service to you. We don't claim ownership of it. It's yours.

Please only share content that you're entitled to share, and nothing that's unlawful, offensive, or that infringes someone else's rights.

9.Links to Other Places

This website may link to third-party services. We include those links because they're useful, not because we endorse or control what those services do. If you follow a link, you're subject to that service's own terms. We're not responsible for what happens there.

10.Honesty About What We Can't Promise

There are limits to what we can guarantee. This website and its content are provided as they are. We've done our best, but we can't make the following promises:

  • That everything on the website is always accurate, complete, or up to date;
  • That the website will always be available, fast, or error-free;
  • That any problems we know about will be fixed by a particular time; or
  • That the website or its servers are entirely free of viruses or other harmful code. You should have your own protections in place. We can't be responsible if something gets through.

The content here is for general information. It's not advice, and you shouldn't treat it as the sole basis for any decision.

None of this affects any rights you have as a consumer under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or other consumer protection law. Those rights stand.

11.A Few More Important Caveats

12.1 This Isn't Financial Advice

Fae gives you information and insight about your own financial data. It doesn't give regulated financial advice, make investment recommendations, or suggest you should buy or sell any financial product. If you need that kind of advice, please speak to a regulated professional.

12.2 Fae's Insights Are Only as Good as Your Data

What Fae shows you depends on the data you connect. If the data is incomplete or inaccurate, the insights will be too. We can't guarantee that what Fae produces will be perfectly accurate or right for your specific situation.

12.3 We May Need to Take the Service Down

There will be times - particularly during testing - when we need to take the website or service offline for maintenance or for other operational reasons. We'll try to minimise disruption, but we can't guarantee uninterrupted availability.

12.Liability - Where We Stand

We want to be clear and transparent about this rather than hide it in small print.

To the fullest extent the law allows:

  • We exclude implied warranties and representations about this website and its content.
  • We are not liable for loss or damage, whether in contract, negligence, or otherwise, arising from your use of, or inability to use, this website or the Fae service.
  • We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses you may suffer, including loss of income, data, or anticipated savings.

There are things we will always be responsible for, regardless of what these Terms say: death or personal injury caused by our negligence; fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; and any liability we cannot lawfully exclude under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or other applicable law.

Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected by anything in these Terms. Where our liability cannot be excluded by law, it is limited to what the law permits.

13.Your Data

How we handle your personal data is set out in our Privacy Policy. Please read it - it matters. The Privacy Policy is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

The short version: we use your data to provide the service. We don't sell it. We don't use it to advertise things to you. For anything data-related, contact us at: hello@getfae.com

14.If We Update These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, the revised version will be posted on the website with an updated Effective Date at the top. If you keep using the website after that, you're agreeing to the new version. If you don't agree, please stop using the website.

15.If We Need to Suspend or End Your Access

We hope it never comes to this. But we may need to suspend or remove your access if:

  • You breach these Terms;
  • We're required to by law or regulation;
  • We discontinue the testing; or
  • We need to act quickly to protect the security of the service.

You can close your account at any time through your account settings. Some parts of these Terms, including our intellectual property rights and liability limitations, continue to apply after your account is closed.

16.Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in England or Wales, you can bring legal proceedings in the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland, you can bring proceedings in the Scottish courts. If you live in Northern Ireland, you can bring proceedings in the courts of Northern Ireland.

17.General

If any part of these Terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still applies.

If we don't act on a breach straight away, that doesn't mean we've waived our right to do so later.

These Terms, together with the Fae Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, are the whole agreement between you and Fae for using this website and service.

You can't transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms to anyone else without our agreement. We may transfer ours as part of a business sale or restructure.

18.Questions?

If anything in these Terms isn't clear, or you have a question we haven't answered, please get in touch.
